Sorry - I really tried/wanted to end that post on a positive note - I feel much like you mentioned in your ice cream post yesterday....At the same time, I try to point out (much like here) that we are buried deep, if at all, in the local news.
If you haven't yet, head east on RI Ave. and get some yummy Rita's this weekend! Don't be fooled, though - the kid's custard is plenty :)
Oh - while I'm thinking about it, do you have information for the Eckington Civic Association's monthly meetings (like I have on my "Every Month" sidebar column)? What I can find in the listserv files is pretty vague. If so, please ocntact me through the e-mail in my profile. Thanks much!
